As the article says,  we can all expect to be givers or recipients of care at some point in the family life cycle…  when we’re young, sick, can’t cope alone or in later life when we often need to depend on more help from others.

MAHM asks this…Why do our systems fail to recognise the importance of time spent caring, fail to support caregivers and to recognise the value and importance of the work done to support loved ones?

It’s simply not good enough!
