Female participation rates in the UK Labour Market 2014

Click on link for data –  it seems that just as many women with children are in paid work as women without children.   Of course many women without children also have other care responsibilities for ageing parents and for spouses and other family members,  especially during periods of ill health.   You can’t take the word ‘care’  out of family life – everyone ends up needing to either be cared for or care for others,  whether you have children or not.
